Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Graduate Studies
Welcome to the Office of the Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Graduate Studies, under the direction of Associate Dean and Professor, Curtis Bennett, Ph.D.
Below are a few of the functions of our office:
- Work wth the faculty to help them acquire teh resources and appropriate training for success in teaching, scholarship, and service.
- Provide leadership in faculty development and graduate student issue.
- Advise the Dean.
- Direct the College's Internal Grants Committee and oversee th awarding of said grants.
- Provide dean's level review of external proposals, primarily on budgeting issues.
- Handle graduate student issues including probation and disqualification, student dishonesty, and grade appeals.
- Serve as a member of the Associate Dean's Coucil, and approiate College and University committees.
- Represents the College on faculty development ad graduate issues on and off campus.
- Coordinate the annual Bulletin revision process for the graduate programs in the College.
