Caitlin’s role as the Laboratory Associate for Health and Human Sciences involves many levels of support for the department including: appropriate preparation of all HHSC lab spaces for classes and research, teaching HHSC lab courses, assisting in HHSC research projects and certifying Faculty, Staff, Teaching Assistants, Research Assistants and Student-Workers in the Seaver College of Science and Engineering in First Aid/CPR/AED or Basic Life Support.
Caitlin was a student-athlete at LMU from 2005-2009 competing in both Cross Country and Track all four years and graduating with a BS in Pre-Occupational/Physical Therapy. After earning her MS in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton she returned to LMU as an Adjunct Faculty member in HHSC and has taught eight different lab/lecture courses for the department. She was also the full-time Assistant Track and Cross Country Coach at LMU for 2 years before her new HHSC Laboratory Associate position began in 2016. Caitlin still assists the LMU XC/Track teams in her free time and is looking forward to a great season – GO LIONS!
