Expertise & Research Interests
Joe Haworth teaches
communications for engineers including public speaking, writing and
listening skills. He has been teaching at LMU since l987 and has
lectured at Stanford, U C Berkeley, UCLA, USC and many other local
universities on the public and technical communications issue about
which he is so passionate. He has published over 30 professional
papers and given hundreds of presentations on the subject. He has
been Information Officer for the Sanitation Districts of Los
Angeles County since l972 in charge of all the public outreach and
communications programs.
