Industry Practice Leaders

In close partnership with our departments, Seaver College has appointed six distinguished industry practitioners who are sharing their experiences and professional expertise with our science, engineering, technology, and mathematics students. This initiative connects leaders actively practicing in industry with our students, who will gain insight into the responsibilities of and opportunities available to working professionals in their field.

Through our Industry Practice Leaders, we welcome professionals who support Seaver College’s Biology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering Departments, as well as Healthcare Systems Engineering Program. IPLs are resources to faculty and students, serving in a number of ways, including advising and mentoring on senior capstone projects; delivering guest lectures; contributing to student professional development; connecting students with other industry professionals and events; providing tours/access to industry facilities, and more. We are pleased to introduce the inaugural cohort of Industry Practice Leaders.
