Isabella Rand

Isabella serves as the Associate Director of Academic Services in the Seaver College of Science and Engineering’s Center for Student Success. Isabella is responsible for a full range of services and programming related to undergraduate student success. In addition to overseeing activities related to academic Orientation, first-year learning- and living-learning communities and experiential learning, Isabella contributes to academic advising and is responsible for evaluation of transfer courses, evaluation of petitions and review of progress toward completion of degree requirements.

Isabella previously worked at UCLA Extension providing visa counseling to nonimmigrant international students enrolled in various academic and English language programs.

Isabella has a master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Loyola Marymount University and a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles. She also has a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language from UCLA Extension. In her spare time, Isabella enjoys listening to audio books and spending time with family.
