Seaver Spotlight: Leaders in Innovation
Tom Mueller, M.S. ’92, alumnus, engineer and entrepreneur, moderates this panel discussion on the exciting new technologies quickly emerging in LMU’s backyard, opportunities on the horizon, important skillsets, and advice for students. Featuring executives with aerospace engineering experience at SpaceX who now lead companies at the forefront of clean technology and innovation, including:
- Doug Bernauer is CEO of Radiant, a clean energy startup based in El Segundo, developing Kaleidos, a portable nuclear microreactor that is an alternative to diesel generators with the potential to bring power to remote parts of the world.
- Erik Palitsch is CEO and co-founder of Freeform, a startup revolutionizing metal 3D printing and scaling it to be a part of mainstream technology. He is driving the development of integrated, autonomous factories that leverage AI, robotics, and advanced metal printing.
